Games I have Made

This is a page for the games I have developed. I have made most of my games in GameMaker Studio, but have experience with Unreal as well. I have not made a game in quite a long time though, so the ones here are somewhat old. I have screenshots for the game, and a download link if you want to try them yourself. They only work on windows, and I unfortunately no longer have access to the project folders, just the final exports as .exe files, so I really can't make any changes to them. They are all essentially unnamed as well, only having the filenames as working titles.

Shmoovement Platformer

This game is a precision platformer with fast movement and simple mechanics. The levels are not sorted in terms of difficulty, but just in the order that I made them, so expect bizarre difficulty peaks and valleys. The only actual art I made for this game was for the playable character. Everything else is just placeholder assets I made.

Controls: game requires a controller to play. For simplicity's sake, I will be describing the controls in playstation terms. The X button jumps, the circle button detatches from wall slides. Right bumper restarts the current level. Touch the pink arrow to win the level.

Debug keys: L skip current level. P previous level.

Anti-Idle Movement Game

This game is structured like an idle game but the caveat is that you gain points by moving, making the game anything but idle. The movement is inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee, and controls largely the same, with wavedashes yeilding a large amount of points per second. The game also features a casino and a gacha mode, where you can spend your points in hopes of earning Gamer Coins which can be used in the shop to unlock various things. I made all of the art in the game myself, as well as all the programming. The slot machine was maybe the single most difficult thing I have ever had to program.

Controls: game requires a controller to play. Controls will be listed using gamecube controller notation because that is what I designed it for, but almost anything should work fine I think. Y button to jump and double jump. A button plus direction is your attack. You also have a neutral attack when not holding a direction. Right trigger is dash, which goes in whatever direction you are holding. Please try wavedashing, even if you never have before, by jumping, and then airdodging diagonally downward into the ground. All buttons on the top of the screen must be clicked on with your mouse. To operate the slot machine, use the left trigger to up your bet (until all lights are on) then Z (right bumper) to spin the slots. Payouts go from lemon, orange, melon, and 7 increasingly, with rarer odds for the better payouts. The gacha works as you'd expect. Whenever you get duplicates, you get dupe points that can be used to pull more. The gacha can be reset in the gallery once it is complete to gain one gamer coin. The shop is where you spend your gamer coins to get neat effects.

Debug Keys: sorry I literally forget LOL. It has been a few years so I do not remember all of them, but I remember there being some, so try pressing some keys and see what happens! The only one I remember is using the A key to enable afterimages for free.

Ponglike

This game is based on the thought I had "there are roguelikes... why aren't there ponglikes?" so I made one. You simultaneously control a shmup style ship and a pong paddle. You have to keep the ball from touching the left wall, and also defeat any incoming enemies.

Controls: This one actually has an extensive readme included, so please just refer to that, as it is more detailed and descriptive than I could do justice here.

Stickmove

This game is a game about dodging incoming projectiles. What makes this game unique is the fact that your position is locked to the center of the screen, and your movement is 1 to 1 with your analog stick, relative to the starting position, like how an input display works. Very arcade-y and score based.

Controls: controller required. Left stick moves. A button to shrink. This drains your energy which is represented at the top of your screen.
