I created a page for my 2026 art, as I have been drawing a bit this week. The site also just recently reached 50 thousand views so thank you to everyone for that. Very surreal number, even if a lot of it is probably bots, especially in this nightmare world we live in with AI encroaching on everything. But yeah, art26 page is up now. I did some shared canvas drawing with some friends of mine and had a great time, so it kind of kindled a desire to draw again, even if just for a bit. Still very music brained at the moment though. Have been messing with making chiptune music in FamiStudio and have been having fun with it, Very easy to use and cool to work with way less polyphony than usual.
I played Mina the hollower recently. It was really incredible and totally surpassed my expectations for it. If you are even remotely interested, please check it out. I have also been using my 3ds a bit. Played 3D Classics Kid Icarus, which is almost identical to the NES game but has really nice background art that was not present on the NES. I beat it and actually had quite a great time. Kid Icarus is a way better game than I think most people give it credit for because it's pretty obtuse and confusing if you don't know how it works. Sure, it's mainly a linear platformer, but not knowing about reaching score thresholds to level up, get arrow upgrades, and not understanding the ins and outs of the dungeons can lead to a lot of frustration. I, on the other hand, watched a great let's play series of Kid Icarus a few years ago by Lucahjin and Proton Jon and I learned a lot there which made my playthrough entirely frictionless. Also not sure if my last entry was before or after this but I played Dusklight, the PC port of Twilight Princess. It was so sick, absolutely recommend it as the definitive way to play it. Framerate was great, QoL was great, really no complaints. Plus it's the best 3D Zelda.
I made another YTP, still not uploaded to YouTube lol. If me making YTPs is news to you, I included the previous ones in a blog entry somewhere. If I keep making more, maybe I'll make a full page for them on the site. But here it is for now.
This Blog
Been feeling a lot of anxiety about this blog existing. I might archive it at some point, keeping the entries on my site but not linking them on the homepage. The idea of people reading my old entries, especially ones that are too personal or cringe for their own good makes me very uuneasy. I like being able to make them and I like the idea of the most current one being visible, but kind of want to blast all previous ones from acessibility.
I think that's all I have for you for today.
