30 entries seems crazy. Feels weird that I've been writing these for as long as I have. I have been thinking about how to restructure the blog, since it doesn't really make sense to have the latest ones all the way at the bottom, so maybe I'll just flip it so it's the opposite? Anyone with a blog of their own, feel free to give me advice on what you do to format yours.
I have been engaging in a lot more creativity this past week now that I have stopped playing mewgenics. It has been a little boring not having a main game to be playing, but I am glad I have had more motivation to make things. I made some more digital drawings today, and even some physical ones. I'll scan those once my printer is hooked up here. I have also been playing piano again, which has been fun but my hands and arms have really been aching. I plan on learning Autumn Leaves as my next piece.
Grayfruit's Rhythm Heaven Custom Remix Contest.
I mentioned in a previous entry that I entered the streamer Grayfruit's heaven studio contest. Since then, the results have come out and it turns out, to my surprise, I won first place. I was not expecting that at all, as pretty much everyone's entries were really impressive and clearly a lot of effort went into them. So in light of that, I am especially stoked to have won, since the competition was so good. If you don't know much about Rhythm Heaven, custom remixes made in heaven studio are essentially taking a song, and charting it as a playable Rhythm Heaven level. They are very cool, and the tools have only gotten better.
Gaming
I have been completely devoid of games to play at the moment. The new Tomodachi Life game came out a few days ago, and it has been great watching people stream it. That being said, I feel as though I am basically getting the full experience through that and don't really feel inclined to play it myself. I really wanted to play the Dragon Quest 7 reimagining, but at the moment, I feel super demotivated to start a long rpg. I'd really love to play some kind of action game, preferably not a roguelike after just getting done with mewgenics. I'll have to do some brainstorming to find what I am going to play next because it's really rough not having a main playthrough going when I don't have much going on.
Anime
I started watching Witch Hat Atelier, which is currently airing this season. I read the first issue of the manga and really liked it, so I have also really been liking the anime. The visuals are gorgeous and I like pretty much everything about it so far. I caught up on the My Hero vigilante spinoff last season. I thought it was really solid, and personally still have quite a fondness for the IP, despite how public opinion of it really seemed to sour as time went on. Have been feeling an urge to watch something old soon, so I might try to watch more Sailor Moon, as I got sidetracked after season 2.
