New Year
I suppose this is the first blog entry I have made in 2025, so happy new year. I have been quite busy these last few days, so I had no time for any updates. on the 1st, I played A Link to the Past randomizer with my friend O-Range, who you might know from such hits as "Sailor Moon S is BROKEN?!" on youtube. I linked that video in a previous blog entry, but frankly it does not need any help from me LOL, that video is doing numbers. It is crazy how quickly it gained so much viewership and not only that, but such a positive response. The video is very good, so I am happy to see it get attention and praise. But yeah, the ALttP randomizer was very fun. We played a version of it that allowed us to be in the same world and literally interact with enemies and such together in one shared instance of the game, it was crazy. We ended up staying on call for quite lilterally 10 hours talking about the Famicom Disk System, among other things. I for sure recommend trying the randomizer with a friend if you enjoy ALttP, and hey if you know O-Range I'd recommend asking him LOL.
Yesterday, I had two friends come over to visit. One of which was Ted (Ankylos), one of the hosts of the podcast I am on (check it out, linked from the homepage of sponduliocity) and the other is Terrace, who might sound familiar if you are aware of the Project M scene at all. He's pretty cracked and even got PR'd for his region in 2024 which is crazy. We played P+, Rivals 2, and Lethal League Blaze. Very fun time, always great to see old friends, especially ones I get along with so well ♥
I think I have largely run out of content for today. Really other than that, I have not been doing much, other than playing Balatro and watching some twitch streams. Jerma went live for the first time in a while yesterday. He streamed infomercials LOL. I only got to see a little of it, as my friends arrived shortly after. Now that I am not as busy, I'd love to start on a new big idea for the site. One idea I had is that since I don't really have a logo for Sponduliocity, I could make a bunch of parody logos that mimic iconic logos and have one randomly selected whenever the page loads. If you have any suggestions for logos I should parody, or even want to submit one for me to use, let me know. I also want to draw a bunch of little self portraits to litter around the site, maybe a few on each page, to make the site a little more visually interesting.

P.S. I just realized I type this outro every time, I should really just copy and paste it LOL. There is a certain charm though, I think, to having it be a little different sometimes.
