HUGE news
After an insanely long wait, the romhack Pikmin squared is finally out. I am so incredibly stoked for this to release, as I have been very excited to play it, basically since it was announced. A very close freind of mine is basically as big of a pikmin fan as I am, and we played the pikmin 2 multiplayer mod together when that came out, then also played Bikmin 269 coop together not too long ago. We will be starting our playthrough of pikmin squared this weekend, and I couldn't be more stoked for it. PLEASE check this mod out if you have already played pikmin 1 and 2. If you have not played both of those games, I highly suggest doing that first, in thier original forms. Please do not play the switch port of pikmin 2, as it removes all licensed assets from the game and replaces them with generic textures. Here is a link to PikHacker's website.
Today
Happy new year, I suppose. Sorry to not have much enthusiasm, but for me, the days are all largely the same anyway, so a new year brings quite literally no change to my life. I may come across as pessimistic here, but I don't even mean it overly negatively. I even had a good day today. I spent it with my mom. First, we played some of the multiplayer games in Game and Wario, namely the sketch minigame and fruits minigame. Then, joel (vargskelethor) went live with Facade corruptions, so we watched his entire stream together. It was absolutely amazing, and I am so glad to have caught these facade corruptions live 2 years in a row now. I think Facade is a really remarkable game, and deserves a slightly more favorable legacy than the status it currently has, but that aside, I also think it is VERY funny, so it's fine.
